​Asharqia Chamber and the Saudi Contractors Authority sign a cooperation agreement to support the contracting sector

Asharqia Chamber signed a cooperation agreement today, Wednesday, March 6, 2024, with the Saudi Contractors Authority. The agreement aims to collaborate in scientific and technical fields and exchange expertise to contribute to the development of the contracting sector.

The agreement was signed at the chamber's headquarters by the Chairman of the Chamber's Board of Directors, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Riziza, and the Chairman of the Saudi Contractors Authority, Engineer Zakaria bin Abdul Rahman Al-Abdulqader. The agreement seeks to enhance cooperation and implement programs and activities aimed at supporting the business sector in general and the contracting sector in particular.

This agreement reflects the commitment of both the chamber and the authority to implement initiatives that empower and enhance the role of the sector in serving the national economy and working towards its development in line with future visions. It also aims to raise awareness to help overcome the challenges that the contracting sector may face.

Al-Riziza emphasized that the agreement is part of the chamber's efforts to support the contracting sector in the Eastern Province. The chamber organizes workshops and training programs, hosting academics and specialists to review ways and steps to develop the sector's mechanisms and provide support to enhance its developmental role.​
